You're expanding access to reliable news.
In June, we introduced audio versions of our online articles. This new feature allows readers to listen to NDNC reporting whether they are on the go, at home, or simply prefer audio. We are committed to making our work accessible to as many North Dakotans as possible, and this new tool is an exciting step forward.
You're combating misinformation
We launched a new partnership with Gigafact, a nonprofit focused on fighting misinformation. Through this collaboration, NDNC is now producing short, verified fact briefs that respond directly to claims circulating online. Our first fact brief focused on renters' rights.
You're helping us connect with communities
I was honored to speak at two League of Women Voters events in the last month and shared tools to identify misinformation and better understand today’s media landscape.
These conversations remind me how vital reliable information is to our democracy and how much work remains to be done.
