Mandan FFA Selected for National Chapter Connect Program

Mandan FFA will join 31 other chapters from across the country in the National FFA Organization’s Chapter Connect program for the 2026-2027 school year.
Now in its second year, the program brings FFA chapters together to build relationships, exchange ideas and work together before, during and after the National FFA Convention & Expo.
National FFA will pair each participating chapter with another FFA chapter. Advisors will begin connecting during the summer, and students will start collaborating once the school year begins.
Participating chapters will also have an opportunity to meet in person during the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo, scheduled for Oct. 21-24 in Indianapolis.
“We’re excited to continue building on the momentum of the Chapter Connect program as we enter its second year,” said Lloyd Daley-Graham, National FFA belonging and engagement manager and Chapter Connect program manager.
Daley-Graham said a new component this year, the Chapter Connect Project, will give paired chapters the opportunity to design and carry out a project that benefits both chapters.
“This addition takes connection a step further, moving from relationship-building into real, collaborative action that will strengthen programs and create lasting learning experiences,” he said.
During the program’s first year, participating chapters stayed connected through conversations, social media and collaborative activities. National FFA says students built confidence by interacting with peers from different communities, while advisors expanded their professional networks, shared resources and found new ways to support student growth.
Mandan FFA is the only North Dakota chapter in the 2026-2027 cohort.
The National FFA Organization has more than 1.05 million student members in 9,591 local chapters across all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The organization focuses on leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
